Family photography sessions are relaxed, playful and connection-focused. Most sessions are held outdoors in beautiful Auckland locations, making the most of natural light and open space for children to move freely.
For unique lifestyle portraits, the photoshoot can take place in and around your home. Let me know what your favourite family activities are (and the mundane ones!) I love to be able to capture real life – the things you do but don’t necessarily see, and the smiles you see, the real ones, that aren’t usually captured by a camera.
I am based in West Auckland, New Zealand, and photograph families throughout the wider Auckland region. Outdoor sessions are best at beaches such as Piha, or local parks/bush. Both sunrise and sunset make beautiful times of the day to photograph families outdoor, just note that sunset is quite late in Summer so if you have young ones you might prefer sunrise, or a sunset in Autumn or early Spring.
Sessions are guided gently with natural prompts rather than stiff posing, allowing you to interact, laugh and simply enjoy time together while I capture the moments.
