Sooner than we anticipated, precious little Ayden was here and ready for his first official photo shoot. I met Ayden and his parents in their home for the photo shoot, taking advantage of a warm, cosy, familiar space and gentle natural lighting. Meeting and photographing little Ayden was just the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning!
Our shoot list included individual photos of Ayden, photos with each parent, a few family portraits, a photo with Nana and photographing the precious bebe in a basket – we managed to get a great variety, Ayden was just a star! Right on cue, this little man was awake and alert until the very end of the shoot – in time for the basket setting. Often we’ll say ‘feed and snuggle’ right before the shoot is scheduled to start so we can get them cosy and sleepy for their photo shoot but honestly, it is just incredible photographing an awake newborn – especially one as inquisitive and responsive as Ayden. It is beautiful to see how little people know exactly who mum and dad are right from the get-go. Nothing settles a baby better than a cuddle from mummy <3
