From November of last year we’ve been slowly sinking our teeth back in to things – here I thought I’d be back to work pretty much straight away after having a baby! They sleep a lot, right?? ;)
Well it’s knuckle down time and we have been absolutely loving being back! I for one feel like a whole new [slightly worse for wear] me, I’ve had time to research, read, study and tie down who I want to be as a photographer and the style of photography that best suits myself and my clients aaaand so far, we’ve had great feedback too. If you have a keen eye, you may well have noticed that there are certain trends that come and go (in terms of the finished look or editing style of the photographer) and rather than follow the trends (lol we know you wouldn’t have expected that from me anyway…) I’ve decided to build my ‘look’ on a more colour rich, sharp in all the right places, perfectly balanced, timeless quality. At the end of the day, our fancy equipment is going to improve the size/pixel quality of our work, it’ll even give us more flexibility with our images, however it is the photographer that makes the image.
Here is a quick look at two totally different families that we photographed this Jan – Jump on Facebook and let us know what you think!
